THE PANEL FACTORY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Our product offer is for the manufacture and supply of decorative panels with laser-cut motif, framework and fixing accessories. All quotes are subject to a site visit.
Please note: All preliminary budget quotes are subject to the approval of a CAD drawing showing design and installation criteria. Some adjustments to pricing may occur if warranted. CAD drawings will only be done on acceptance of the quote and deposit payment received.
Our prices will remain fixed and firm and are based in South African Rands – no escalation or exchange rate is applicable. Powder coating costs are based on standard colours and finish. The Panel Factory reserves the right to adjust the cost accordingly once the final colour and finish have been selected and approved by the client.
Our offer will remain valid for 45 days.
Price is a delivered price within 100km of our factory for orders exceeding R5000, alternatively, a R500 delivery charge will be charged for orders below R5000.
Courier charges will be applied subject to the destination address.
Invoicing will take place immediately after batch inspections have been passed by a nominated candidate. Storage will be the client’s responsibility.
50% payment due upon go-ahead or Purchase Order received.
40% due once the product has successfully passed factory inspection.
10% On delivery
Your order will be scheduled for production once you have approved shop drawings. Our fabrication lead time is generally 4-6 weeks.
Installation is quoted separately. If you have your own preferred contractors or the scope of installation falls under a separate building contract – this is acceptable to us.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Engineer costs and fees are not included in The Panel Factory quote. All required engineer drawings and certifications are to be arranged by the landlord or owner at their cost. The Panel Factory reserves the right to adjust costs were any variations to material specification or design changes are made or requested by the engineer.
Final drawings and specifications must be signed off by the client prior to manufacture, including any cost variations that may arise.
Manufacture and dispatch will not take place until all terms and conditions are met.
Note: Lead times only come into effect once CAD drawings have been approved and signed off by the client.
The Panel Factory will not be liable for any faults which occur due to the following:
*Any modifications made.
*Existing structural defects where panels are to be installed
*Damage caused by lightning, fire, and/or external factors.
*Misuse or abuse of the Panels (advertising etc.)
*Operations adjacent or localized to the environment of the installations.
*Improper installation – where alternative contractors are employed.
*Rust / Corrosion where Mild Steel is used for outdoor applications.
*Any plaster work or paint touch ups will be for client’s responsibility
Manufacturing is done in an ISO 9001 accredited facility. Due to the nature of the product, an excellent quality standard is the “norm”. The quality procedure within THE PANEL FACTORY is a ‘living’ procedure and we are constantly striving to improve all aspects of quality from the Company.
